New Moglea!

Yay! We have just received a new shipment of our favorite Moglea cards! These letterpress beauties are a huge hit around here. Especially the "freaking awesome" one!

All cards are printed on extra thick stock with painted edges. I love the color combinations Meg comes up with.

Free Invitations from Bella Figura

If you've been to Ménage, you probably know that we are a little bit obsessed with letterpress. Bella Figura is one of our top-of-the-line letterpress companies and every year they have a Do Good promotion. Last year one of our amazing brides took advantage of this and got 25 of her invitation suite for free. All you have to do is a good deed (and we know you do those anyway) and follow their instructions and you'll get your freebies, too!

In House Design

We love browsing through all the wonderful stationery books that we have here at Ménage.  I love stationery, so I never get tired of the possibilities!  If you stop in to look, whether for a party invite, your wedding suite, some personal stationery…or just because you love to look, like us…we will be most happy to help you just as much or as little as you like. We can sit with you and look with you…or we can go on with our daily tasks until you need us. 

Sometimes we search and can’t seem to put our finger on that perfect invitation.  It is so much fun to get creative at that point.  I am constantly amazed with the designs our team creates!  We produce those in house, so the price is very competitive with what we have in the books.  For example, we recently had a customer who needed a poker invitation for her father.  He has been playing poker with the same bunch for YEARS!  We created that in house, and it was amazing. It was actually the inspiration for this new small stationery card, “susan.”

Short on time to address your invitations?  These fabulous in house creations for an engagement party included addressing the invitations for the customer.  All that we needed was an excel spreadsheet.  We just plug in the info, and amazing results follow!

We're back

Hello Friends! We have kinda neglected the blog since... well, since we started it. Things have been busy around here! But we're back with a new goal: to post once a week. Here goes.

In January, we went to the New York International Gift Fair. We always love an excuse to escape to New York.  This time it snowed...and it was really REALLY cold!  I am talking wind chills at zero!  After it warmed up we took a walk on the upper west side, and cut down by the Dakota.  Guess who we saw coming out of the gate?  Yes...Yoko Ono!  She just walked down the street in the direction we were going, so we fell in step behind her all the way over to Amsterdam!

While we were on the Upper West Side, we found a great coffee shop called Irving Farms.  I LOVE their coffee, especially the Gotham blend.  I have already depleted what I brought back and ordered more!

On Monday night we attended a lovely wine reception at Dempsey & Carroll on the Upper East Side.  We saw many lovely new spring releases there!  If you have never been there, stop in and browse on your next trip to NY. I promise you will find wonderful engraving and much hospitality.

At the NYIGF we saw so many wonderful things. The most clever and beautiful ones were purchased for the store. They should all be arriving soon so be sure to stop by soon to see the new items joining Ménage, like these adorable cards from Moglea.

Check out our christmas ornaments!!

Isn't this the cutest selection of woodland creatures, adorable dogs, sparkly feathers, and other ornaments you've ever seen?  Because I think it is. 

We also have other kinds of ornaments, and place cards that look like ornaments, so that your table can be really festive and in the spirit of the holidays too!

These silver and gold ornaments look great on a tree, they really pick up the light of the christmas lights.

Okay, so three out of the four photos feature this owl...but he's just so cute!  We have all different styles of these owls made out of pinecones, grass, leaves, and all the other things you could find in nature.  (Maybe I'm a little obsessed with owls, but its okay.  I'll just buy them all if you don't.)
